MEET THE BAND

 I found my love of singing at about 4 or 5 years of age.  I can remember when I was a small child, standing on the hassack and performing to keep my Aunt Starry from going out.  I, as a lot of artists, started singing in our church choir.  By the fifth grade, I started “writing” songs.  I spent most of my school years performing in the church and school choirs.  I have formed or joined multiple projects over the years and have enjoyed and learned from each and every one.  Our current project is a group of talented guys who have the same passion for putting on a fun and entertaining show.  We do our shows “as our hero's do."  We strive to sing to and connect with our audience. Telling stories to rhythm is a huge part of my life.  God willing I will be able to “do what I love” until the Lord calls me home. 

 To my friends, I am known as the happy go lucky guy in the bunch.  I am always up for having a good time and hearing good, live music and I especially love playing it.  I was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia but raised in the years that matter in the small town of Mechanicsville, Virginia.  I grew up helping my grandfather on his farm during the summer with cattle, horses, goats and chickens and always had a love for being outside.  At the age of 13, I picked up playing the drums because my father always noticed me taping rhythms on different things wherever I was and at any time of the day.  Since age 13, I've grown to love playing the drums and have been greatly influenced by it over the last 11 years.  All in all, I am just a God fearing, blue collar musician, who loves God, his family and of course his fellow bandmates.

I am a Alexandria VA native until moving to Richmond VA in 2014. My experiences playing music include mostly what we now call “alternative country” - roots Americana, Blues, RnB, Rock-a-Billy and early RnR. I was most influenced by the local DC area guitar players I grew up listening to, playing with and watching during all of my years as a music fan. It’s been a long way to Richmond heading south down 95!!
